“For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your forefathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.”
It was empty, my life before. No matter how depressed or discouraged I may get at times, all I have to do is ask myself "Do you want to go back?" No way, no how. Living through bad times with Christ as my King is infinitely better than the best times I had when I was lost. Thank you, Jesus, for dying for me, for claiming me as one of yours, for giving me this wonderful life.
