Happy Birthday, Tiny Ninja!

Twenty-five years ago today, I remember my first sight of you - one arm waving as you were making your way into the world. Thank God for epidurals, or this memory might not be so bright and heart-warming.

Today, still a Tiny Ninja, you're also a great music teacher and an amazing young woman / sister / daughter / friend. I pray God blesses you especially this day with the knowledge of His love for you and the unique place you hold in His creation.

We're celebrating this evening with a family dinner, but yesterday we had a girls-only (Tiny Ninja, Danger Haley, and me) IHOP and Wal-Mart celebration.


We didn't get arrested for being a public nuisance, but I think we were at risk a couple of times: rolling on the floor laughing, really bad dance moves (OK, I'm the only one guilty here), and turning in that really BIG broken bulletin board.
