Forgot where it was...

Yes, I have it - MBA! (Menopausal Brain Arrest). I totally forgot where this blog was and just found it again today.

Recently finished projects: two totes made from 1/2 inch fabric strips and M hook based on Marlo's Crochet Corner pattern for plastic bag totes
(http://www.marloscrochetcorner.com/Plastic%20Bag%20tote.html), plus a small handbag on cane handles with matching cell phone holder and a smaller bag from the leftovers (my own designs). Everybody loves these and they are pretty simple to make, but my hands would get tired and I needed more breaks than normal (no give in the fabric strips so takes more physical effort to make stitches). I have pictures and will try to figure out how to post them this week. Also took some random granny squares and put them together to make a small lap-ghan (or could be a baby blanket), plus made ~ 3 inch dolls for youngest niece and great niece and nephew (used Patons Grace for body and embroidery floss for clothes - they were darling if I do say so myself).

Works in progress: camoflauge "blankie" for charity, fabric strip tote for sis-in-law, "all-in-one wrap" for me, embroidery floss star flower bookmarks for small gifts, squares for granny exchange, ribbon scarf/shawl for Mom's birthday, and almost finished with a plastic canvas Bible cover for oldest daughter (large Celtic cross on front).

Enjoy the summer!
