Am I naive or what?

OK, in spite of everything I've read and heard about the Crochet A Day Calendar, I actually thought (or hoped) I would be able to complete each item on its calendar day. Maybe, if I did nothing else (including sleeping and eating)! But I'm working on the little portable checkerboard and having a great time doing something I wouldn't normally pick out to make. I'm doing it in John Deere green and yellow, planning to add a little bag to hold the coins/playing pieces, and will give it to my wonderful in-laws to have handy for the younger grandkids. Darn, the timer's going off, which must mean it's time to eat. Another interruption to my crocheting! 8-)
